Website Basics

Wednesday, January 23, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

No cost to participate

This workshop has been cancelled due to an emergency in the presenter’s family. We will reschedule this session at a later date.

Do you or your organization need a new website? This workshop will cover the basics of planning out a website redesign, things to consider and prioritize when you are building the new site, and an overview of some of the content management systems and other tools available to make your website easier to use and maintain. There will be time at the end of the workshop for questions and work time, so feel free to bring your computers.

Presented by Ryan A. Ripley, freelance technology consultant. Ryan has expertise in web design and development. As freelance technology consultant he helps organizations refine and improve their technology systems including their website, online membership resources, constituent relationship manager, staff email and phone systems, video conferencing technology, and budgeting systems. He has worked on tech needs with the Playwrights’ Center, Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts, NCACDA, the Theater People Web Series, and Wonderlust Productions among others. Ryan can present information so someone with limited experience with tech issues and needs as well as an advanced user can feel informed and engaged. https://ryanaripley.com/
