Yevgeny Kutik – Exhilarating Violin!

Saturday, April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

No cost to participate

We’re excited to welcome back Yevgeny Kutik, internationally acclaimed violinist. Yevgeny will be the featured soloist in our presentation of Max Bruch’s ‘Violin Concerto no. 1 in g minor’. Its soaring melodies, lush and passionate orchestral writing, and devilishly difficult violin passages will highlight Yevgeny’s interpretative insight and virtuosic technique.

The concert also includes Antonín Dvořák’s ‘Slavonic Dance opus 46, no. 1’, and Artistic Director Jay Fishman’s composition ‘A Romp Between Serious Thoughts’, celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan State University’s library. Our final selection will be Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s entrancing ‘Symphony No. 36, (“Linz”)’. Written in just four days, the haste of composition is in no way reflected in the symphony’s beauty, depth, and vivacity.

Save the date, bring your family, and encourage your friends to join us!
