Metropolitan Regional Arts Council

Metropolitan Regional Arts Council improves arts access for Twin Cities metro communities through grants, resources, and advocacy for artists and organizations.

Please note: Grant applications to MRAC are currently closed but will re-open in 2024. Grant program pages (Flexible Support, Arts Impact for Individuals, Next Step Fund) are from the last rounds and are displayed for reference only. We will announce updated information about grant programs and their deadlines in June 2024.

Check out the Welcome to MRAC Grants page, an introduction for new and returning applicants to MRAC grant programs and the grant-making process. You will find information about translation and accessibility options, fiscal sponsorship, and tips to apply to all of MRAC grant programs.

Applications will be accepted on the Submittable grant application platform. Please visit Submittable’s help center for questions on technical assistance and getting started.
