About This Grantee

New Arab American Theater Works is a Minnesota based collective of SWANA
(Southwest Asian/North African) and Muslim American playwrights, musicians, and performing artists.
We fill a void in the local and national scene where Arab and Muslim Americans frequently lack voice and opportunities.

Impact Statement
“MRAC’s funding has allowed us to fulfill our mission by aiding us in programming our work, paying artists, and helping with the operation of our organization. MRAC has been a constant support that we have greatly appreciated and depended on throughout the years of providing arts opportunities for our community. “
– Kathy Haddad, Founding Artistic Executive Director
