Manage My Grant

Congratulations on receiving your MRAC grant! As you move forward with your grant-funded activities, there are a few additional steps you will need to take to fulfill your grant agreement. Read on to find out more about using Submittable to manage your grant, acknowledging your grant funding with appropriate language and logos, and submitting project changes.

Using Submittable

Throughout your grant funding period, you will manage your grant through Submittable, our online interface. Submittable will be your the access point for all your grant materials, including agreements, final report forms, and project change forms. It is also a helpful tool to get in touch with your program staff member.

Navigating Your Submittable Interface

When you log into Submittable, the main page is your “My Submissions” list. Here you will find every application you have submitted via your account. To view your MRAC grant, find the appropriate listing and click on the 4-digit submission number. Once you are viewing your MRAC grant, you can track all the grant-related activity (“Activity” tab), send a message you program officer (“Messages” tab), and find additional forms (“Forms” tab).

Communicating with MRAC Staff

If you have questions about your grant at any time, you can send your program officer a message in Submittable via the “Messages” tab. Click the “New Message” tab to write your question and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

MRAC sends the bulk of our communications to applicants and grantees through Submittable. Please be sure to add Submittable to your safelist so our messages don’t go to your spam folder!

Forms in Submittable

All of the following forms can be found in Submittable.

Grant Agreement

Before you receive any funds from MRAC, you need to review and sign your Grant Agreement. When you receive notification of your grant award, the email will tell you the steps you’ll take to finalize your Grant Agreement, which includes uploading a W-9 form and finalizing the agreement via Docusign.

Final Report

Once all the grant-funded activities described in your proposal are done and all the grant funds have been spent, you have one month to submit your Final Report (note: grants awarded prior to 2026 have two months). This report includes community outcomes and financial reports, and is used to determine whether the grant funds were spent in accordance with the grant agreement and your approved grant application. Your grant is not considered closed until your final report is submitted and approved by staff.

Remember, individuals, organizations, and groups can’t have more than one open MRAC grant at a time, so don’t forget about this crucial step! Plus, overdue or incomplete Final Reports may impact your future eligibility with MRAC.

Project Changes

Sometimes, your grant project will need to be modified. Project changes might include updating the timeline or end date, changing venues, or adding staff, among other possibilities. You will need to submit a project change form and have it approved before you make any changes. Visit our Project Changes page to find out more about this process.
