If you ever wanted to learn how to create your own podcast or to write in rhyme, to shape a well-loved tale to its telling or collect community stories, Story Arts of Minnesota has something for you. If you’d just like to listen, we have a children’s story hour, bedtime stories for grown-ups, and several curated concerts featuring local and national storytellers. If you are curious to learn about groups using story in your community, we will be showcasing the work of organizations across Minnesota. If you are eager to put all your newly acquired telling skills (from our plethora of wonderful workshops) to good use – we will be rounding off the week with an open story circle. There is all this and SO MUCH MORE planned for this year’s StoryFest.
All events will take place on Zoom on the evenings of May 10th to 14th and during the day on May 15th. Visit https://www.storyartsmn.org/storyfest2021 for a full schedule of events and a link to register. Registration is free, although donations are appreciated to help with festival expenses.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
