Minnesota Hard Bop Collective Quartet! “The Music of African American Composers of The Hard Bop Jazz Era Concert Series”

This Metropolitan Regional Arts Council-sponsored Hard Bop Jazz concert will feature the music of iconic African American legendary Jazz composers. Example composer features are Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, Cedar Walton, Lee Morgan, and Elmo Hope among many other Hard Bop legends! (Think classic Blue Note Records!) Additionally, concerts feature the magnificence of local Twin City professional jazz extraordinaire musicians. Bands range from piano trios to horn sextets. This Sunday afternoon show starts at 3 p.m. at MetroNOME Brewery – located in the heart of downtown St. Paul in Market Square across from C.H.S. Field. Shows are free, ADA Accessible, and open to the public!
