Maximizing your Organization’s Engagement on Social Media

August 31 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

What’s the best way to manage your organization’s social media presence when you have limited staff and time? Learn how to create a strategy, plan your content, engage new audiences, and monitor results.

This session will focus on developing a social media strategy to support your organization’s goals, with a focus on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. We’ll discuss how to increase your followers, create engaging posts, boost event attendance, use paid advertising, and more. Bring your questions!

Amy Danielson is a marketing and communications consultant who is focused on supporting nonprofits, small businesses, arts organizations, and individual artists. Amy was recently the digital marketing and social media manager at the Minnesota Historical Society where she created social media campaigns for exhibits, programs, historic sites, and more. She currently works with small to mid-sized organizations to create marketing and PR strategies, including social media plans to deliver the biggest impact with limited resources.
This is exactly the same workshop that is offered on August 24. Due to popularity of the topic we added an additional session.

If ASL interpretation or other accommodation would help you enjoy this workshop please contact Bethany at bethany@mrac.org.

There is free and easy parking at the MRAC offices and the location is also on the Green LRT line and bus lines.
