Grace Park, Violin Virtuoso – Incredible!

Friday, April 1, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

No cost to participate

The Minnesota Sinfonia’s Winter Concert Season concludes with award-winning violin virtuoso Grace Park performing ‘Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor, Opus 26, by Max Bruch’, described by the noted Hungarian violinist Joseph Joachim as Germany’s “richest and most bewitching” violin concerto.

The Sinfonia will also offer the pieces ‘Braving the Unknown’ and ‘Contemplation’ by our founder and artistic director, Jay Fishman, dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and colleague, Kathleen Hardy. The ‘Petite Suite de Concert’, a lighter yet enduring composition by Samuel Coleridge Taylor, an English composer and conductor, will follow, and the concert will conclude with George Bizet’s ‘L’Arlesienne’.

This performance like all Sinfonia offerings is free of admission charges, and children are welcome and their attendance is encouraged!

CONCERT COVID PROTOCOLS:
Masking will be required for all attendees over age two. Face masks will be made available for any attendee arriving without a face covering. We also ask that you abide by CDC guidelines for social distancing.
