Creating Sustainability: Identifying and Utilizing Resources
Thursday, November 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pmNo cost to participate
How can your organization’s current resources better support your growth? This workshop gives you the space and tools to evaluate your organization’s needs, and consider how your staff, volunteers, board, partners, and collaborators can better support your mission, vision, and upcoming programming. We will discuss methods for caring for ourselves as a resource, as well as ongoing practices for sharing your progress and ongoing work with your supporters. Class will blend simple group movement, written reflection, and more traditional teaching. Appropriate for both individual artists and organizational leaders.
Presented by Laura Holway. Laura is the owner of Small Art Advising, which helps creative people and their organizations sustainably grow the vision and reach of their work. Her process uses embodiment, personal reflection, authentic connection, and intentional experimentation as tools for intentional growth. Laura is a dance artist, Mom, teacher, and the Managing Director of public art practice Don’t You Feel it Too?. She has worked with dozens of artists, start-ups, and creative organizations over the past six years as a consultant, and past fifteen years as an artist and curator.
