Lunch & Learning: Miscellaneous Contributions
Thursday, October 11 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmNo cost to participate
Lunch & Learning is a series of five fundraising sessions that are focused on helping you build support that is sustainable and unrestricted. Move donors up the giving ladder, create systems of communication, and learn best practices in donor stewardship in a casual and conversational setting. You may sign up for one, two, or all of the sessions. Lunch is provided at no cost. All Lunch & Learning sessions are presented by Sheila Terryll.
October 11 Topic: Miscellaneous Contributions
Donors are generous and creative and gifts of stock, memorials, and planned giving are some of the ways people can support your work. This session will provide an overview of some different types of contributions, how to be comfortable including them as an option when you ask, and what follow-up is required.
- November 8 Topic: Thank Yous and General Policies
These free events are limited to just 14 people. Once that limit is reached a wait list will be opened. Cancellations must made at least 48 hours in advance or the individual will charged $25 for the cost of lunch and the space in the workshop.
