Are you a person with a disability interested in the arts, either as an artist or as an arts-appreciator? Are you an arts organization interested in increasing the participation of people with disabilities in your programming? Or maybe you represent a non-arts organization (like a social service organization or neighborhood association) interested in providing accessible creative opportunities for people with disabilities in your community?
We’re developing a new Accessibility grant program to increase the participation of people with disabilities in the arts, and you can help us build something that responds to your needs by filling out a brief community survey.
There are two versions of the survey:
- A survey for PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES – Specifically designed to get the input of individuals who identify as a person with a disability or disabilities (PWD); and
- A survey for ORGANIZATIONS – Designed to get the input of arts and non-arts organizations who want to grow the participation of people with disabilities (PWD) in their communities.
Are you BOTH a person with disabilities and a representative of an organization? Then feel free to fill out both surveys or just the one that speaks to you the most.
Survey participants are eligible for one of four $25 VISA gift cards. All survey responses are anonymous, and if you choose to participate in the drawing you will be directed to fill out a separate survey with contact information, which allows us to retain the anonymity of your responses. Each survey contains 9 questions about your opinions on arts participation and we estimate it will take 10-20 minutes to complete.
To turn on screen reader support for Google Forms, press Control + Alt + z (on Windows) or ⌘ + Option + z (on Mac) in your form. If you would like any assistance filling out this survey, or would like to request it in another format, please contact Accessibility Program Director Scott Artley at scott@mrac.org or 651-523-6384.
Survey responses will be accepted through Wednesday, December 4th, 2019.
