With an emphasis on art centers, art councils, community education, and parks and recreation managers, the Geek Girls will discuss ways to expand social media networks and make new connections! Find out how your organization can benefit by listening and paying attention to what others are saying. Learn about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. You'll consider the potential value of these tools for your organization, your organizational messages and how your staff represents your organization online. Join us, and learn how to tune in and engage in this new way of doing business. Lunch is included.
What's LOCALS? The LOCALS group is a professional network of art center, art council, community education and parks and recreation managers that meets four to six times per year. The sessions provide an opportunity to share best practices, network, and learn together around a timely topic. We encourage leaders to bring along key staff, board, and organization volunteers!
