Oskar brings over a decade of experience as an organizer, a cultural producer, and advocate for arts and culture. She has worked with diverse communities with a focus on social change, racial and gender equity. Most recently, as the artist organizer for the Little Mekong District, she led creative placemaking initiatives with a strong focus on arts and culture, social enterprise, and community development and is also a consultant with various Twin Cities groups.
Oskar has also served as an MRAC grant review panelist and as an advisory member of MCA’s CreativeMN report. As a multi-disciplinary artist, she is a singer, writer and fashion artrepreneur. Oskar holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys crafting, sharing food, culture and conversations.
